Almanak at the Opera House

Restaurant Almanak at the Opera House offers sustainable gastronomy. The star of your meal will always be seasonal Danish produce, which the skilled chefs at Almanak select and refine with the greatest of care.

Almanak has been awarded the Silver Organic Cuisine Label.

    Starters

    • Sugar and salt cured cod, marinated kale, horseradish emulsion, puffed buckwheat and watercress

    • Variety of sunchokes, crab, sour cream and herbs

    • Danish tomatoes, cured scallops, fresh cheese and tomato water

    Main courses

    • Braised welfare pork, roasted artichokes, artichoke purée and brown butter sauce with apple vinegar. Served with potato compote

    • Chicken of the forest served with fried chanterelles, maize and thyme, rich aspic of chicken breast and pickled mustard

    Desserts

    • Selection of Danish cheeses, beer-pickled nuts and crispbread

    • Milk chocolate bar with apple compote and burnt meringue

    • Wild Swedish blueberries, cream of white chocolate and oatmeal crumble

Restaurant Aamanns Replik lends emphasis to vegetables, fish and poultry – all prepared with seasonal ingredients from local producers. The culinary quality is high and the dishes are prepared and served in simple, tasty ways.
