Here you will find information about refunds if you have tickets and other purchases in connection with a canceled performance.
In the event of a cancellation, you will receive an email explaining how to proceed. The email contains a link that you must click to have the value of your tickets (including service fees) issued as a voucher.
If you wish to have the money refunded to the payment card used for the purchase or to your bank account, please contact customer service at kundeservice@kglteater.dk
In the event of performance cancellations
If your performance is cancelled, you can have the ticket price refunded as a voucher, provided the performance is one of The Royal Danish Theatre's own productions and takes place on one of The Royal Danish Theatre's own stages in the Playhouse, the Opera House, or at the Old Stage.
The voucher can be used to purchase new tickets. If you instead wish to have the refunded amount paid out to your payment card or bank account, you must contact The Royal Danish Theatre's customer service at kundeservice@kglteater.dk.

If the cancelled performance takes place outdoors in Dyrehaven or at Moesgaard Museum, the ticket price will be refunded as a voucher if the cancellation occurs before the start of the first intermission. We will send you an email with the information. If the cancellation occurs after the start of the first intermission, your ticket will not be refunded.

The performance of Dansen med Regitze on the 30th of May 2026 at 5 p.m. is unfortunately cancelled due to scheduling reasons.
The guided tour of the Opera House on the 19th of July 2026 at 1.00 p.m. is unfortunately cancelled due to scheduling reasons.
Restaurant
If you have ordered a theater menu at Aamanns Replik in the Playhouse for an evening where your performance has been cancelled, we kindly ask you to send an email to replik@aamanns.dk before your scheduled arrival. The restaurant can then refund your purchase or move your reservation to another day.
Other organizers
In the event of cancelled performances staged by external organizers on The Royal Danish Theatre's stages, whether the ticket price is refunded depends on the rules of the external organizer.
