Faldet

Cikaros

Experience the circus performance The Fall, which was nominated for a Reumert award in the category Special Performance of the Year in 2025.

Three of the country’s foremost circus artists, Signe Løve Anderskov, Henriette Aarup, and Kajsa Bohlin, have worked professionally with (not) falling for over 20 years. Now they share their anxiety and wonder with the audience, unfolding the phenomenon physically and existentially. Inspired by autobiographical material, literature and language, Einstein, Icarus, and the myth of the Fall, they explore the anatomy and mythology of falling. Faldet (The Fall) was nominated for a Reumert award in 2025 in the Special Performance of the Year category.

My body freezes at the thought of the humiliation of the small fall and feels the anxiety of the great, infinite fall. Because after the fall, there is nothing. Or is there?
