Wilma Giglio

Born: 1994

Nationality: Argentinian 

Education: Began her career in Teatro del Libertador Córdoba in Argentina. In 2010 she participated in Prix the Lausanne, and was offered a scholarship to Canada’s National Ballet School in Toronto where she graduated in 2012 and was part of their post secondary program until 2014

Career: Joined the Royal Danish Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in 2014. Promoted to soloist in 2018 and to principal dancer in 2021

Awards and grants: Prix de Lausanne Candidate in i 2010 – scholarship to Canada’s National Ballet School, Oberstinde Polly Sander’s Grant in 2017, Ole Nørlyng’s Talent Award in 2018 and the Order of Dannebrog in 2022.
