About The Sandmen The Sandmen were formed in Copenhagen in 1985 and have over the years secured a solid position on the Danish rock scene. The band, known for its love of garage rock, psychedelic music, and Manchester groove, has released several albums and enjoyed great success both in Denmark and internationally. Today, the band consists of Allan Vegenfeldt, Michael Illo Rasmussen, and Stefan Moulvad, along with their two regular collaborators Jens Hein on bass and backing vocals, and Jarno Varsted on guitar, harmonica, and backing vocals.
