Free ballet under the open sky when the Royal Summer Ballet goes on tour for the 20th time.
The Royal Summer Ballet has gradually become a tradition for audiences all over Denmark. Experience some of the country's best ballet dancers in highlights from famous ballets and the upcoming season's performances.
The best way to start the summer is to sit in the Danish summer sun with family and friends, while dancers from the Royal Ballet perform live. The Royal Summer Ballet has existed since 2006 and draws thousands of audiences out into the summer weather every year to see ballet under the open sky. Everywhere - from castles, parks, harbors and museums - audiences have been enthusiastic about this special experience.
The Royal Summer Ballet is for everyone - both seasoned ballet lovers and brand new ballet lovers.

Come early
Come and experience the ballet dancers' warm-up on stage, which starts 1 ½ hours before the performance. A free printed program will be provided upon arrival.
The Weather
The performance will only be canceled at the last minute if weather conditions do not allow the performance to take place.
