Long Long
With a repertoire spanning French lyricism, bel canto elegance, and classical Italian roles—and a growing list of debuts at major opera houses, where he is praised for his “brilliant lyric tenor with volume and beauty, a completely secure top, and a ringing high C”—Long Long is rapidly building a reputation for performances that combine lyrical beauty with emotional depth.
Current and upcoming engagements include his debut at the Metropolitan Opera as the Duke (in La bohème), a role he will also reprise at the Semperoper Dresden. He returns to the Bregenz Festival and Atlanta Opera as Alfredo (La traviata), to Palm Beach Opera as Nadir (Les pêcheurs de perles), and appears as Cassio in Otello at the Bavarian State Opera. He will also make his debut at the Staatsoper Berlin as Roméo (Roméo et Juliette), perform Edgardo (Lucia di Lammermoor) at Deutsche Oper Berlin, Alfredo Germont (La traviata) at Deutsche Oper am Rhein, and portray Faust at the Canadian Opera Company.
