Experience the internationally acclaimed Danish violinist Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider in concert on the Old Stage, joined by distinguished musical guests.
Nikolaj Szeps-Znaider is Denmark’s foremost international artist and one of today’s most sought-after violinists. Since winning the Queen Elisabeth Competition in 1997, he has appeared as soloist with the world’s leading orchestras and conductors. Yet however demanding his global schedule, he continues to return to Denmark and to the musical roots that shaped him.
Since 2007, it has been a cherished annual tradition for Szeps-Znaider to gather loyal followers and new listeners alike for a virtuoso evening on the Old Stage, presenting a carefully curated programme alongside distinguished guest artists.
This year is no exception. For the concert, Szeps-Znaider performs on a Guarneri del Gesù violin – a historic instrument on loan from the Royal Danish Theatre, acquired through generous donations from the Villum Foundation, the VELUX FOUNDATION and the Knud Højgaard Foundation.
