Join us for a series of festive Christmas concerts in The Opera House foyer.
On four afternoons in December, a festive hush settles over The Opera House foyer as singers from the the Royal Danish Opera Chorus gathers to sing in the Christmas season. Amid the holiday bustle, the setting is relaxed and welcoming: a pianist, a conductor and members from the Chorus present a varied programme of beloved and lesser-known carols in a concert of approximately 45 minutes.
At The Opera House, we are always looking for ways to draw our audiences closer to the music. Each concert therefore concludes by turning the foyer into one shared choir, warmly inviting everyone to lift their voices alongside the Royal Danish Opera Chorus and become part of a truly special musical Christmas moment.
The foyer café will, of course, be open – the perfect place to enjoy a glass of mulled wine before or after the concert. And if you would like to prolong the festive mood, you can round off your visit with the musical Evita, performed on the Opera House’s Main Stage on all four concert days.
