Dream

Where have you been last night?

DREAM by TINY DANCER is a playful and interactive dance performance for children age 3-8, where the kids themselves help create the performance together with us.

Join us on a unique and enchanting journey into the land of dreams, where anything can happen! In DREAM, the children’s own dreams, thoughts, and feelings are transformed into dance, play, and vivid imagery that can inspire new adventures—both in their imagination and in real life. The performance explores the meaning of dreams through choreography, scenography, and unique soundscapes that the children get to experience with their whole bodies.

As part of the performance, the children are invited onto the Takkelloftet stage at the Opera House, where we create a fascinating dream world that allows them to recognize their own dream images—and maybe discover new ones! Dreams are a kind of portal to the strange, the poetic, and the completely unexpected. Here, boundaries can dissolve, reality can twist and turn, and suddenly we find ourselves in a wild and magical landscape.

DREAM is a performance that celebrates children’s curiosity, emotions, and imagination, and invites them to keep dreaming long after they’ve left the theatre.

Do you want to join us on a magical journey to the land of dreams?

The performance is created by Tiny Dancer and co-produced by Danish Dance Theatre, premiering at Takkelloftet in 2026.
